CUAD’s VP of Advocacy and Awareness, Jeff Olson participated in a weekend political event for Senator John Hoeven in Big Sky, MT. 

The event drew political supporters and advocates from various industries across the country for the two-day gathering. Other guests in attendance were Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski and Montana Congressman, Steve Daines. Credit unions had the only financial service advocates attending. 

On Saturday’s event, Senator Hoeven and Senator Murkowski addressed the current issues in DC and the impacts sequestration will have on the Dakotas and across the country.  With a voice of confidence, Senator Hoeven stated, "I believe there are improvements happening across America, and we are beginning to turn the corner." 

While the weather in Big Sky proved to be a stellar day, the positive attitude from our Senator mirrored the perfect ski day!
