Credit Unions 4Kids Holiday Icon Campaign is Underway
![]()
The Credit Unions for Kids Holiday Icon Campaign has kicked off, and credit unions in the Dakotas have the opportunity to show your community how much credit unions care.
So far, only one Dakota credit union (Palace City FCU) has ordered their icons!
But, there is still plenty of time for you to get involved! While the campaign is promoted as running from November 1 through December 31, those are simply guidelines, according to Felicity Guerin, Credit Unions 4Kids liaison. Many credit unions choose to run the campaign through January or even February. That is why there are some “non-holiday” icons to choose from, such as the snowflake and the football designs.
This campaign is a great way to engage members, and best of all, it is very simple for credit unions to participate. Credit unions can order paper icons in fun, holiday-themed shapes for no charge. Then, encourage members to donate one dollar in exchange for writing their name on an icon that you can proudly display in your branch.
North Dakota donations will benefit the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND and South Dakota donations will benefit the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
