The Red River Chapter of Credit Unions had their annual Christmas Social on December 4 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. 

The Chapter had a great turn out for the event, as 115 staff, board members and volunteers attended the social. 

An Irish Auction was held, and the proceeds went to the YWCA, a domestic violence shelter for women and children.  The total raised from the auction was $2,292.00.  The attendees also donated many items that were needed for the shelter, which included personal hygiene items, clothing, paper products, and food.  Rachel Clark from the YWCA attended the dinner, and gave a presentation about the services that are provided at the shelter.  She expressed her appreciation for the chapter’s support on behalf of the YWCA.
