The 4th Annual GAC CUPAC/CUPAC Holiday Raffle hits the halfway point today, and early reports from some of the credit unions are that sales are strong and going well.  A few credit unions have requested additional tickets to sell! With more winners this year, it should not be difficult to sell, sell, sell!

What’s new this year?   Once again we will be awarding $5,000 in prizes, including two Grand prizes of $1,000 gift cards. However, thanks to our many credit union sponsors, we will have 24 winners this year. In addition to the two grand prize winners, this year we will be drawing for eight $200 gift cards and fourteen $100 gift cards.  With the support of our credit union members this year our raffle is sure to generate a record amount of necessary funds to our state and federal political action accounts.

Plus, this year we are offering $200 gift cards as incentive to the top performing credit unions per state that sell the most tickets. Credit unions can use the card for a staff celebration, or they can use the prize as a reward to the individual who sells the most raffle tickets. If you need more tickets, contact Debbie Kruckenberg at CUAD at dkruckenberg@cuad.coop, or by calling her at 800-279-6328, ext. 3924.

The raffle, which is sponsored by both the North Dakota and South Dakota GAC (Governmental Affairs Committees’) and supported by several Dakota credit unions will ultimately help each state meet and exceed our national and local political action fund raiser goals for the year.

CUPAC is the state Political Action Committee (PAC) for Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. Each GAC operates and manages their CUPAC accounts. Contributions to CUPAC are used to support credit union friendly candidates in their bid for state office. CULAC is the federal Legislative Action Council for the Credit Union National Association

Per suggestions from our credit unions last year, the raffle was moved back to the Holiday season this year and was abbreviated to a 30-day promotion. The last day to sell tickets is Saturday, December 1. Keep selling those tickets and thank you for your support!
