I recently received an email from our Miracle Jeans Day liaison, Felicity Guerin, expressing her appreciation for the outstanding participation from Dakota credit unions in the Miracle Jeans Day event.

Miracle Jeans Day 2012 was a HUGE success, and the Memo is still publishing stories about the creative ways that Dakota credit unions raised funds.   Nationwide, 538 unique credit unions participated (up from 322 in 2011) and 22 leagues (up from 10 in 2011). With just a few credit unions left to submit their donations, we will soon have a final dollar amount to report. Watch for the announcement in the Memo!

The response from credit unions in the Dakotas was overwhelming, thanks in part to a friendly little competition we had between North and South to get the most credit unions signed up. South Dakota ended up with the most credit unions participating, but in the end, it is the kids and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that are the big winners. Each and every day, kids are treated for injuries and illnesses of all kinds at our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Miracles are happening for families in the Dakotas, thanks to your support.

Thank You to all of these credit unions for participating in Miracle Jeans Day:
