Speed Innovation Groups were busy collaborating yesterday afternoon at the New Ideas Conference. Their task: to identify a problem, trend, or opportunity in our industry and to imagine a product, service, or opportunity to bring a potential solution to market. 

The final ideas will be judged by the Filene Research Institute and the New Ideas Center of Bismarck. A $1,000 prize will be awarded to the best New Idea to assist in bringing that idea to market.

Photo: Conference attendees were assigned to small groups where they spent approximately 1 ½ hours discussing opportunities. The small group assignments will continue tomorrow afternoon for an additional hour.
