Town & Country Credit Union Tough Enough to Wear Pink
Each October, the Town & Country Credit Union Minot branch shows its support for the Minot Y’s Men’s Rodeo by celebrating Rodeo Week. The public is invited to attend a Tough Enough To Wear Pink Party today, Thursday Oct. 4 from 11am to 1pm at the credit union. A free-will donation chili feed with all of the fixings will be held at the party with all donations going to Tough Enough to Wear Pink. On sale in the lobby will be Tough Enough to Wear Pink merchandise and one of the Y’s Men’s Rodeo saddles will be on display. Rodeo queens from across the state will also make an appearance.
The Town & Country Credit Union staff has donated more than 15 silent auction baskets to raise money for the Minot Y’s Men’s Rodeo “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” campaign. The silent auction will be available during normal lobby hours through tomorrow, October 5. Auction items include UND hockey tickets, wine, wildlife prints, homemade jellies, Pride of Dakota products and much more. “It’s really fun to see the staff come together for such a great cause,” commented Shannon Webster, VP Marketing. “We’re proud to sponsor local events such as the Minot Y’s Men’s Rodeo and are excited to help raise money for their campaign.”
100% of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Tough Enough to Wear Pink. Tough Enough to Wear Pink seeks to raise funds to provide cancer patients access to Trinity Health’s cancer exercise rehab program at the Minot YMCA. This innovative program offers dramatic results in the quality of life and rehabilitation for those fighting cancer.
